Main academic positions: standing committee member of the 11th committee of Chinese Orthopaedic Association, vice chairman of the 13th committee of Beijing Orthopaedic Association, and Chairman of the Beijing Society Biomedical Engineering.

Main academic achievements: He took the lead in conducting the clinical application and basic research of total elbow arthroplasty in China, Also, he focused on the research of elbow stiffness and proposed the Chinese model of integrated surgery-rehabilitation-psychology treatment algorithm for elbow stiffness. He established a systematic and standardized diagnosis and treatment strategy for complex elbow joint injuries to guide clinical practice and reduce complication rates. He also established different types of accurate positioning systems to identify elbow rotation center, including 3D navigation robot-assisted, optical, and mechanical positioning system. For the first time in the world, he completed bi-planar and 3D navigation robot-assisted surgery in the elbow joint, significantly improving operation accuracy and clinical prognosis. Furthermore, he established a Chinese database for humeral intercondylar fractures and radial head fractures. He has undertaken scientific research projects funded by the National Natural Science Foundation of China, the National Health Commission, and the Beijing Excellent Talent Program.
